Sky Watch Friday #57

Sky Watch Friday with the new format. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.

The once mighty Oak Tree climbs skyward into the blue. Their majesty while not once what they were are still beautiful in my eyes.
Hang on dear Oak Tree to the power you had once shown.
You can see a lot of neat skies on the above site.

Wednesday Potpourri - Misc.

I am going to show a true potpourri of photos today.

My saying that the deer always look back was proved again last week. She has her tail in flag position to leave but still had to check on me.
Mac did an arty post today and I'm going to also. I call this "Looking Through the Queen". Do you know why?
I always like to have photos of bonfires. My son started a big fire when I visited. He has a woods with a lot to burn.
This was a visitor to the fire pit coals before the fire started. I thought this was a neat pose. He didn't "croak" because we took him away from the fire.
There was one morning when the dew was all over the spider webs. The construction on top of this bush was pretty cool. You can see the hole for the home on the left center.
I do hope you enjoyed my mixed up post.

What Is It XXVII - Answers

There were a lot of great guesses yesterday. Tricia of Bluff Area Daily got the shopping cart right away. She has a neat photography blog.

You can see where I got the next photo from the pool. From across the street, I thought it was Homer Simpson in the pool until I got closer. #2 - Here is the dinosaur pool floaty ride. Darla guessed a float right away but Craver VII got the dinosaur. Stop by his blog and see his neat bee fly photo. He also won a few weeks back, great job. Darla has the dinosaurs little brother on her blog.

BTW: Craig, this looks nothing like Joan floating in the pool!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
It was a fun week with a lot of great guesses. I'm glad you took a chance.

What Is It XXVII

My World post is below.

Here are to for you to guess today, they are far afield from my normal objects as you will see here. They are from my area of home.

#1 - I think this is an easy one if you pay attention.
#2 - This may be a bit harder.
Have fun, how wrong can you be?

My World # 44

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Ivar, Sandy, Wren, Louise and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

I just made a trip to Pennsylvania to camp and go to a golf outing. It always feels like home when I get back to the Allegheny Mountains. This is a view from the town of Emlenton which has been bypassed since adding the interstate. Click on the photo to get an idea of the size of the bridge over the Allegheny River.
I went down into the town through the windy roads for old times sake. This is a view from the bottom of the river gorge.
We golfed at one of the cheapest courses I have ever played and a senior can play 9 holes for $4.20 + $5 for the cart. I is a fairly hard 9 hole course near where I camp. This was an out building that had seen better days but I love these kinds of shots. The number one fairway runs in front of this building.
You can see a lot of great areas of the world by visiting the above site.

Today I'm showing the second blooms on my Yellow Knock-out Rose I planted this Spring. They are putting on a nice show.
I got this morning shot when the dew was still on the roses.
Check out the one year of posts.
