This flock Canadian Geese were in a field near the plant I work at in PA. They were just walking through the field feeding when another flock came in honking from above.
This completely changed their posture.
They honked back a warning to stay away or fight.
They really meant business and the other flock left the area.
I really enjoy how demonstrative these Canadian Geese can be.

Indeed FG, they are so nice to look at as if they are posing for you ;)
Great photos. Geese can bee quite territorial to their own kind as well as to humans!
Very nice -
These geese can sure be bossy when they want to be... I saw one have a go at Peters dog Defor when he got to close.. ha! efor jumped out of his skin when it rush him..
No surprise that the old Romans used geese as watchdogs at their capitol. They mean business! Good one!
Cheers, Klaus
It's interesting how geese communicate with each other, that's for sure!
Very nice pictures of the geese! They are really pretty.
Couldn't help but laugh at Tom's comment about Defor!
Geese are like that and don't like any kind of intruders.
I took photos of geese yesterday - probably post them Sunday.
Wonderful pictures, Fishing Guy! The second with the baby between them is so cute.
Brilliant photos! I love the one that looks like Mr Goose is getting an earful from Mrs Goose! :)
They say geese are very good guardians!
