My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 2 GMT is the post time.
We had our first frost this week but it didn't come near my flower beds. Here is another look at the Dahlias. This was an unusual looking bug on the flower.
This dark red one was putting out a lot of blossoms.

Marvelous macros of these beautiful red and yellow blossoms! Thanks for sharing ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Nice captures of the Daliahs, including the bugs. It is a cold 50F with gusts of 65mph here today.
You have stunning subjects in your flower beds.
They are beautiful Tom. Those beetles can be very destructive on flowers.
Your Dahlias are still very pretty FG! Enlarging the first one made a huge difference. The bee and the unexpected ant were great captures.
You are ahead of us. We haven't had frost yet thank goodness.
I like the oval framing. Nice shots.
Those are absolutely gorgeous. I am glad they were spared.
