Here are some more photos from Mexico. This was a neat woodpecker similar to our Red-bellied but with a golden crown.
This was a Curved Billed Thrasher, it looks like it caught something tasty.
This was a little wren on a building.
There was a great White Egret that frequented a pond near my daughter's house.
This was a Guinea Fowl that ran with the Peacocks.
I do hope you enjoyed the birds.

Great bird photos, and I was very ftaken with the woodpecker and that lovely coloring on his head. Never seen one like him before. Lovely traveling to different parts and seeing what kind of bird life they have there.
That white egret picture is just incredible!!!
Some nice birds there. We've been trying to get some good woodpecker shots but the subject seems to be a bit camera shy. My sister ended up getting some great Tawny Owl shots instead. :)
It is most interesting to see birds from another part of the world.Thanks.
Blessings,Ruth
Nice selection from Mexico Tom.
Great Mexican birds, Tom... The Thrasher looks alot like our Brown Thrashers... Love that Guinea Fowl....
And your header is GREAT.

That first guy is quite handsome-- love the colors oh his head :-) And the egret-- what a loooong neck compared to the rest of his body.
Thanks for sharing,

Cool woodpecker! We have a curved bill thrasher very similar.
Great shots! I love that woodpecker. The one I captured on film in Sweden seemed to be grey and white...
You are right Tom, that is a neat Woodpecker!! Love the Egret reflection.
Ginger headed woodpecker now thats cool, nice reflection too on your egret pic.

A wonderful group of birds for Camera Critters, Tom.

I wonder if that red bellied woodpecker's feathers are just bleached from the sun. tee hee
Wow love the white egret with the reflection!
This is the first time I have seen an all white Guinea fowl...I like the other captures, too.
