The header theme this week by Dave is "To Bake or Not To Bake". Mac, Gail's Man, Lanny, Dave and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that.
Darla, Martha and Tom W are on a break. Come back as soon as you are able my friends.
This weeks theme was tough, thanks Dave. I could have shown Christmas cookies but decided on another baked treat. So I share with you the just opened NY2C (New York to Chicago) Pizza Shop. It is owned by friends of ours and is located in Stow, Ohio at the Giant Eagle Plaza next to Applebee's.
The decor is really cool with the two city theme.
It has some neat graffiti as you come into the shop.
The owners are Kenny (baking) and Nancy Long.
You have your choice of New York thin crust,
or Chicago deep dish.
I chose for my header a look at the baking oven with Ken working with the final touches on the NY pizza.
You can see what the others have shown from the above links.

I really like your header and pictures, but now I have this craving for some pizza!
Tom, your nice pictures describe so well the NY2C Pizza Shop, and that pizza looks delicious.
Cool place..I'll take the deep dish!
I like their art work. I miss eating pizza. About twenty years ago Dirt declared he hated pizza, he has gotten very vocal about it to the point that now our friends placate him with a little somethin else when pizza is on the menu. Bet and I sneak it in every now and then, mostly when we know he isn't joining us for dinner. When he builds our outdoor kitchen he did promise to put in a wood fired pizza oven, but I did sell it as a bread oven. Your header is inspiring.
Love the shots - and that pizza looks delicious... I'm drooling now!
No joke, I DID have pizza for supper!! ~karen
