The theme this week is by myself which is "Black & White". Mac, Gail's Man,Lanny, Dave,Sandy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesday and start the voting after that.
This is the moon in all it's glory in Black and White.
Here is an early morning scene on the lake. Even though it is in color it still looks like Black and white at dawn.
My favorite fish is the Black Crappie. They look good in Black and White.
I chose to feature a photo of a sketch my brother-in-law Gene made called "The Hand of God". He is so talented as you can see. He has lung disease and at 50 has a little time left.
You can see what the others have shown at the above links.

This shot is truly great Tom, The hand of - God, love, Guidance.
Also your posts are stunning.
Your Brother-in-Law is a very talented artist, I wish I could draw hands like that. It gives a very peaceful and tranquil feel to your header this week Tom.
Outstanding banner and post, my friend. Your brow-in-law sure gave a great gift, making great use of his talent. Your early morning (not) B&W is right up my alley.
Sorry to hear about your Brother-in-law's health.
That is a beautiful sketch! And I love the subject.
I'm sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. His drawing in your header is fantastic.
Fantastic captures, Tom! Love the moon and the early morning shot is awesome! I'm so sorry to hear about your brother-in-law, holding good thoughts for him -- superb drawing. Hope your week is going well!

Your choices are all great, but your final choice was the best. I'm sure it gave your very gifted brother-in-law pleasure to have it introducing your blog. My thoughts are with him and his struggles, as well as all your family during this difficult time. My mom passed away at 50, but quite suddenly. It's far to young to be facing such a journey.
Very comforting header. To be reminded that those who love Him are in His hand. There came a time in my life after much rebellion that I so realized that I had been held exactly there, in His hand, and always will be. There is no better place to be.
Looks like a great catch. Congratulations,
Filip
Great pictures!
Gene is talented for sure! May he find comfort and relief in the hand of God.
Love the banner It's a WOW!
And I also love the photo of the moon. :)
Oh you reminded me how much I used to go outside at night and take photos of the moon. Thanks for sharing, and hope all is well. Anna :)
