The snow is gone so the Spring flowers do appear. The lowly crocus is first to appear. These purple crocus just popped out of the ground as the soon as they could.
The purple crocus is a beautiful flower.

I have some yellow ones blooming here.
I always look for the first crocus to pop out of the ground. I get so excited when I see them, because I know that warmer weather is on its way. I haven't seen any crocus here yet. I'll have to go take a look; you'll only one state away from me!
Ohhh! I just looked. We have three crocus, just showing their buds. They haven't opened up yet.
