The bridge at Crain Avenue is making progress. This is looking West to Fairchild Avenue across State Route 43. The water tank was shown on my blog at another time. This is part of the nations recovery act. They are also constructing a gas station in front of the gray house on the right.
Looking East the construction of the Fairchild Road. There are 3 roads closed so it makes it a lot harder to get to my house. The new bridge will not align with Crain (just to the left of the brown house) or Lake Avenue.

Wonderful shots of recovery of the town. I wish them great success.
That has to be an inconvenience for you and your family, Tom! Terrific photos! Hope they get it finished quickly! Have a wonderful week!

A little more patience for residents before reaping the benefits.
Have a lovely week.
Wow, what a construction project! Nice shots and so much going on in them! I like your buck in velvet.
It's going to be a cool bridge...but a gas station amongst all the residence? I think I'd rather drive a bit further for my gas. Just me.
Looks like work is progressing well Tom.
Intersting post.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
ahhh..something different in this post.. all about construction.. :)
That looks like they are making progress. Great shots.
Looks like something good is coming out of a tiny bit of that 'recovery' money... Your bridge and community will be a much better place once it is completed....
Great pictures.

Looks like too much work! Those construction guys deserve a beer - lol!
that must be a big project. hope the constructions will be finished quickly.
IF the construction is finished, it will back to normal and maybethe flow of traffic is a lot better. How long it will take to finish? seems it takes a while yet, just be patient soon it will make easy for you if it's done.
roadworks grrrr.
These things sure take time, don't they? Have a great week! ~karen
There is a lot of construction going on in and around our town. It's a mess. It will long good when it is done though. Until it is done, it is tricky getting around and takes longer to get where you need to go.
I'm glad the bridge is coming along so nicely, but will the alignment with the streets cause problems?
This is progress?
The recovery act was 4 young men re-vegetating at Cedar Breaks and Grand Canyon getting some roads chipped sealed.
rebuilding for the better. nice shots. :)
It seems like they have been busy on them for a long time now Tom but it will be wonderful when they have finished.
In South Africa they have undertaken a massive road project taking 4 lane highways into one while they work to make it sometimes six lanes in some areas going home at night takes me 3 hours to drive 45 Km's and this so far has taken 2 years will be finished the middle of 2011 it will be fantastic when finished but hair pulling while being contructed
Love the last shot-how you can see the white houses beyond.
What a lovely town. Great document of change.
Wow, they have been at that a long time. Will they ever get it finished?!
