Header Compitition Season 2 #46 "Landfill"
The theme this week is by Mac which is "Landfill". Mac, Gail's Man, Lanny, Dave,Sandy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesday and start the voting after that.
This was a tough one this week. It is hard to get access to a landfill in this area. I decided the only thing I could show was from outside the landfill. This is a built-up land fill where they bury the trash above the ground. Here are some shots from the outside of the fence.

There is no beauty in this place but right next to it is a Cleveland Metro Park with a lake. The trees hide the landfill at this time of year. This is what fills the land near the real landfill.

Well I guess they have done something useful with it. Must be little chimneys dotted about to let the methane out.
They've done a great job of hiding it!
Those hills. They scare me. I imagine critters sinking down, down, down those deceptively pastoral landscapes. Great shots. Sure do like the lake!
