The heavy snow doesn't keep the Eastern Gray Squirrel from hunting for food.
Up onto the trike for a bite of corn.
What the heck just happened. I was just getting some corn.
This is so cold it makes you close your eyes.
Why Mister Black Squirrel did this to me.
I think I'll just go to the deck and get some needed Sun.
You can see some neat critters above.

A lovely series of photos! :) In that first photo it looks like he's sunk right into the snow.
Great shots of the squirrels. I like the shot with squirrel getting dumped on.

The Flock of Seagull and my family wants to say Happy Weekend!
How cute! Squirrels are always fun to see!
Poor little guys.. They look so cold (along with all of the other critters). Have the deer been back to eat from your feeders?
Have a great weekend and week ahead. We are headed to Arkansas tomorrow for a week.

We love watching and photographing the squirrels as they visit the garden. Great photos.
They certainly appreciate your corn feeder. Great pictures.
Awesome shots FG, I would of thought he would be hiberbating by now. Thanks for sharing:)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. It was actually a bit hard to see the cats knowing how their bodies would love to run. I know they also serve as a rescue facility, which I appreciate. It was hardest to see a bear though that they had. It had what I thought was a small cage, but the guide told me it was twice as big as regulation. A trip full of mixed emotions. ~
These are wonderful pictures of the squirrels. The captions are pretty wonderful too!
Wow you have been getting some snon.... great to see the squirrels out and about... they have a good friend in you for sure.
Really cute series, Tom!
Naughty little black squirrel!
I'm wondering if the gray squirrel is plotting revenge?!

This is a good series FG...
Burrr! It has always amazed me how wild creatures survive in the freezing cold. Cute shots :-)
Adorable-all great shots-but the last one-Oh my you should frame that one.
Delightful squirrel photo series and fun 'story' you've shared to go along with these pictures ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
How cute!!! My fave is the last one - it's a great portrait!
SOOOOoOO cute! And WOW! You have a lot of snow!
We rescued and raised two baby squirrels (which we released into the wild as soon as they were ready). We see them out and about even now. When it snowed here, I worried about them but soon discovered that they had made a nest in the chicken coop. They kept nice and warm there.
Love the pics!
These have to be some of the best shots yet! Love em!!!! I really enjoy all your pic's. Colleen
