My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 2 GMT is the post time. Thanks Luiz for featuring my plant on today's Flowers. A Happy Valentines wish to all my friends.
Last week I showed the found Datura that I transplanted last year. While at the hotel we went to in Nashville they had this one in a salmon color. I never realized it was the same flower until I studied the flower closely.
It has the same trumpet shaped flowers and they start out the same yellow color as mine.
This shows you how big the plant can get under greenhouse conditions.
You can see a lot of great flowers above.

So, thats what they are called, I've got a shot of these flowers from st Ives, Cornwall.
Nice shot Tom.
You'll have to visit Nashville again and get some more ideas. This is a beautiful plant.
I wonder what the difference between Datura and Brugmansia is...I believe it's the same plant. I have been babying one all winter..can't wait to set mine in the garden....I have the double Datura it's purple and white...nice captures.
Wow, I haven't seen this colour of Datura here. This is so beautiful. Great shots. Love all your photos.
I've never seen Datura in any other color than white. But they do grow Big around here.
They are lovely big blooms but I wonder why they face down - too heavy?

I love these flowers. I believe my neighbour has the same thing, though she called it Angel's Trumpets.
My dad's wife has a plant of this. It smells SO good. I don't think she knows what it is called.
These flowers are really lovely. They remind me of some lilies that grow around here.
They remind of our bright orange Carolina Trumpet Vine.
Beautiful!
Very lovely flowers!
One of my favorite plants!
