We did have one blue sky morning when the temperatures were cold and the trees in the far field were covered with frost. I love this old shack and the way it keeps falling down. This was looking toward the North but turn around and look below.
Mostly our skies looked a washed out gray. I still think the scene is beautiful looking across the cat tails toward the South.
You can see a lot of neat skies at the main site.

Beautiful, clean images. I envy you that one blue sky morning.
Blue skies or frost, both look really great.

I remember that old shed from previous shots. Doesn't look as bad in the snow. :)
I like the cattails shot.
We had one pretty day this week. It's snowing now.
The sky is so blue in the first picture, it doesn't even look real! What a delight winter's day that must have been for you. Nice photos! ~karen
We finally have a tiny bit of sunshine today, Tom (first since Jan.31).. BUT--the clouds are coming back!!!!
Love your pictures --especially that blue sky in the first one.

What a perfect blue in that first shot!
Terrence looks at the sky
The shot of the shack melting back into the earth is great. Can't help but think what houses with vinyl siding are going to look like as they try to return to earth...
Nice shots. Beautiful morning blue sky.
Nice shots. Beautiful morning blue sky.
Great shots, Tom. It looks cold but beautiful
What a BEAUTIFUL clear blue sky over your wintry world! Nifty old shack too. The rain has stopped for the time being in So Cal ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
Beautiful blue sky! And we've had a lot of those gray skies this winter.
It's great that you can still find simply beauty amidst the gray skies. We have had so few blue skies lately here in the N.E. It's a joyous occasion to see blue sky and sunshine! (Today was great... windy...but beautiful)...
A happy weekend to you ~Maria
I love the cattails .. that's a wonderful photo.

Both shots are great - washed out grey is beautiful too!
Hello Tom
Blizzard there, in contrast to the enormous heat here. This week we had 40.9 ° C (105.62 F). That man in the picture actually runs the risk of developing skin cancer because it is on the beach at 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Have a good Carnival
There is something about blue skies, old buildings about to topple, and cattails...look at all those cattails. Wonderful photo opportunities you captured. Loveit
God Bless
Beautiful blue skies you have. Frosty though but it looks really lovely.
Have a good weekend.

Those cat tails could be a field of popsicles, ready for harvest.
Love your photos! Always!
Fabulous skies, like all the different textures framed in shades of white.

Wasn't Monday morning just glorious with the sunshine making all that frost gleam and glitter?! I love winter!

The blue sky reminds me of looking into the face of the Yei bi Chei. I can almost hear the shuffle of their feet, the rythem of their chanting and rattle. They come in winter, a time in northern az. when living off the land and other activities are more difficult, bringing with them words of healing so that "The People" as individuals could be cured of their depression that winter brings. And restoring "hozho" Beauty to their walk. Thanks for that!
The cat tails really do look neat, but I like the old shack under that beautiful blue sky.
That is an interesting shack. I clicked over to comment on your flowers from today. I love the Angel's Trumpet. The focus is remarkable.
Gorgeous! The dusting of snow in the second shot is lovely.
That blue sky is beautiful. I love old barns/buildings that are falling too. There's a barn near here that I keep waiting for it to fall completely down.
Love the textures in that bottom picture, too.
