The header theme this week by Lanny is "Harvest". Mac, Gail's Man,Lanny, Dave and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that. Sorry I'm late today, computer problems.
Darla, Martha and Tom W are on a break. Come back as soon as you are able my friends.
I have spent 8 weeks catching loads of Black Crappie, but alas the bite has stopped and they are doing work on the lake. There is one descent Green Perch which I caught.
So I changed lakes and also changed fish, I have gone from Black Crappie to harvesting Yellow Perch. They are running from 9" to 11 1/2" long.
See what the others have shown above.

Wow.. that's quite a haul. Are they yummy?
I love the colours in the header photo!
Oh yum. You know Tom you have corrupted me, aside from getting into quilting my other goal for this coming year is to start fishing with Bet in earnest. It is all your fault you know! You and your pictures of fish!
Beautiful. This reminds me of my Dad teaching my kids how to clean fish with a spoon. Get 'soccer' boy out there!
Quite a haul!
Great HARVEST, Tom ... You have really had a good year for catching fish...
Haven't heard from you in awhile. Have you been out-of-town --or just fishing????

Harvest of the waves well that's definitely you Tom. Looks a good haul although the name of the fish may put a few off eating them.
Your header shows a great harvest of fish. Good job!
You really are a determined fisherman.
Your header is perfect dear Tom, You are so talent with blogging and a fabulous fisher! :)

What time is the fish fry so I won't be late? Beautiful catch.
Man can you catch fish : )
What an amazing catch.
I'm hungry for a fish sandwich!!
Evidently there are many excellent dinners to be had at your home. The fish are beautiful and must be SO tasty! One day I would like to compare the taste of the fish I catch in the salt. Right now the striped bass are on their southerly migration rounding Montauk Point. Wish me luck!
Well that's a different kind of harvest.
Never thought about it that way.
That is quite the harvest Tom! Nice fishing!
