The theme this week is by Sandy which is "Pink". Mac, Gail's Man, Lanny, Dave,Sandy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesday and start the voting after that. I'm posting a little early this week because of the weather conditions not allowing for good planning for fishing trips, so an early post made sense for me.
The color Pink is all around and if you look you can spot it such as this Pink Cure Ribbon for Breast Cancer.
Or something as simple as a male House Finch in its Pink breeding colors.
The sky offers you wispy Pink clouds.
It also shows powerful Pinks in this formation.
So who can not see the beauty in a Pink Rose.
But I chose to show the pink in one of my Peonies. I think the pink stand out against the dark green leaves.
See what the others have to show tomorrow.

Header Competition Season 2 # 32 "Green"
The theme this week is by Dave which is "Green". Mac, Gail's Man, Lanny, Dave,Sandy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that.
What do you think about with the word GREEN? I must say I think about the greening of the Earth to make it healthy again I do recycle paper, cardboard, glass, cans and plastic through our city.
The next thing I think of is Spring rains and the greening of the plant. Our April rains have continued into May. It certainly has made the plants GREEN. These are in my herb garden with some chives to far along and blooming.
I love my Hostas plants and the Great Blue Hostas is just starting to spread it's wings.
I have planted a lilac bush and it is on its one year old.
My friend Becky gave me some bulbs and In the second year they are starting to bloom.
My Ohio Buckeye Tree is Green and has blossomed and I chose it as my green header. I hope you enjoyed the GREEN tour.
See what the others have to show.

Header Competition Season 2 # 30 - "Water"
The theme this week is by me which is "Water". Mac, Gail's Man, Lanny, Dave,Sandy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that.
I love to be on the water and because of scheduling problems I was late in posting for my own theme. I got a call this morning to hit the lake unexpectedly. I went out without a post and family needs slowed down the post. That said, I wanted to show some shots on the water. I caught a little Painted Turtle on a worm. He was not hurt and returned to the water to bite again. Note the Frogg Toggs Rainsuit I got from Bass Pro Shops, it keeps the water off of you.
This was a scary sky to go out on the water.
But it broke into a beautiful sky later in the day.
I chose for my my final theme shot the water this week. After a wet rainy morning the Sun came out and so did a rainbow with a reflection on the water.
See what the others shared from the above links.
