"YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT"

The theme this week by Mac is "Your Favorite Place to Visit ". Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. Mac is gone vacationing on his theme.

My favorite place to visit is the lake with a camera and fishing pole in my hand. The water is still hard on March 25 TH which has put a stop to being on the lake. The ice is just barely off the shoreline. It will be another late start this year but soon the crappie will be biting.
I might get some walleye to bite.
Maybe a big channel cat with it's forked tail.
The painted turtles will come up on the log to warm.
The Canada Geese will visit with the newly hatched goslings.
There may be a Ruddy Duck or two.
The muskrat will try to get a bite to eat (see its pointy tail).
The mallards will be there for sure.  I'll see you on the lake really soon.

Pics taken in the last Month

The theme this week by Kathy is "Pics taken in the last month ". Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

I was at birthday party and three of the grand kids were there. One is graduating from college, one is going to be in high school next year and one is going to be a senior in high school. That is the order they are standing. What neat kids.
2/23 and the truck was completely covered and snowed in..
3/18 and the crocus are blooming with some hyacinth coming out of the ground to the left.
2/24 and our street is such a mess. We also have some daffodils out of the ground.
3/18 Here is another bunch of crocus with snow bells near.
3/2 and the buildings are melting, with still a lot of snow.
3/18 I just love the crocus color.
3/14 and I'm breaking the ice off the curb areas. I made an ice chunk totem in memory of the rock totems in Ontario. It is all melted. Funny what a 65 F day will do.
3/18 The tulips are starting to make their appearance. This is the area behind the truck that was 3.5 feet high with snow.

"WHITE"

The theme this week by myself is "White". Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

So I chose white, a hard color to show without contrast. So how about a kayak going down the Cuyahoga River in the middle of winter. He was getting ready to go into those rapids. He didn't turn over.
My daughter raises orchids, here is a beautiful white one.
Here is my truck surrounded by a a pile of white snow.
Here is another view of the kayak.
How could I go for white without showing snow bells.
My three lane street is shrinking with all the white stuff.
Here is a white ice sculpture as my artistic show. What does it look like? Maybe a big bug?

"Repeating Pattern"

The theme this week by Kathy is "Repeating Pattern". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. That is unless you download a program that completely screws up your computer, SORRY!

Sunshine and snow, an unusual mix in NE Ohio but here it is and the repeating pattern of the railing made my header choice.
Sun is fun to see and it doesn't seem so cold. No wind also helps.
Here is a cool pattern under the deck, protects from critters.
How about a wicker chest, it makes for an interesting photo.
You can use the top or side for different effects.
