I Added an Outdoor Section of Blogs

I know this change to an outdoor section is going to cause me to move some things around but that is alright. I'll do it on the weekend.

I added Travis Wilkins Iowa Nature Photos. Travis has an eye for the outdoors when he makes his treks through the woods. Travis is a school teacher and does a great job with outdoor explanation. This is a stream where he was catching the water movement. Stacey Huston is an artist with the camera when it comes to outdoor photos. Her blog is called A "Focus" in the Wild, a neat play on words. Here is a nice shots from her blog of a flock of Turkeys with one gobbler strutting. This a picture of a Mountain Lion she had recently with a great post.
Stacey's husband, Mike "Hawk" Huston, who works with her on the blog has his own blog called High Country Archer where he shows his prowess with a bow. There are some great hunting photos on the sight. Here is Mike looking for some game. Stacey told me he is using an older style long bow. He uses a primitive weapon similar to what the Indians used to hunt.
You can check them out and decide what you think.

I Added a New Art Blog

I added a new blog to my Art Section. Gina from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia is a scrapbook artist and adds so much more with her stories of her life in Tasmania. She has beautiful pictures of Tasmania, her love of scrap booking, her family and her cooking. I would recommend a trip to Australia to check out her sight. Tasmania is definitely a country I know little about and hope to learn more through the visits. Tasmania is located off the South East coast of Australia toward Antarctica. From the pictures they have beautiful weather right now. Our winter corresponds to their summer. Here is a picture of Hobart from Mt. Wellington.
Everyone knows the Tasmanian Devil from cartoons but how many of you know the real animal. The Tasmanian Devil is the only carnivorous marsupial still living. That means its a meat eater and has a pouch for raising their young. That mouth certainly is full of teeth. They give off a bad odor when scared. It certainly has skunk colors.

I Added Two Sights To My Blog

I added one to my Artist Blog and one to The Blogs I Read.

The Daily Mammal is a special Artist Blog. Jennifer Rae Atkins is going to draw every mammal over the next 14 years. She does a great job with the colors on her drawings. It is a fun sight and has some Valentines that can be printed out on your printer. You should check it out. I found the sight through Mr. Chinchilla. I have been visiting the sight over the last month and really enjoy her art.

The Typing Octopus is a fun little sight. Each weekend new picture are added to the sight that you can caption with your own sayings. This past weekend was a Wookie Weekend. If you think you would enjoy having fun with captions you should try the sight.
