"The Color Purple"

The theme this week by me is "The Color Purple". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

The color purple not the movie. The temperature hit the mid 60's over the weekend. The purple crocus bloomed and the honey bees came out just in time for the contest. I liked this shot as two bees loved the purple and left the white bells alone.
The purple crocus put on a great show.
The bees really kept busy.
What great colors as they put on a show.
Here are a couple outside the bed. It gave me a neat show in front of the bricks.
This be was just lifting off the purple crocus.

"FOLDED"

The theme this week by Kathy is "Folded". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

The theme brought one memory from the past that you don't see anymore. We used to make our own toys and one was "Folded" from a piece of paper. You could fly them, fight them and chase them. Yes, it was a Folded airplane. This one is flying in front of my wall art.
You would start with a piece of paper and fold it in half.
You would then fold from the top corner two or three times.
This one was folded three times.
You then folded back a top wing back to give it lift. It was then folded and ready to fly.
