Camera Critters # 98 - Squirrels

The heavy snow doesn't keep the Eastern Gray Squirrel from hunting for food.
Up onto the trike for a bite of corn.
What the heck just happened. I was just getting some corn.
This is so cold it makes you close your eyes.
Why Mister Black Squirrel did this to me.
I think I'll just go to the deck and get some needed Sun.
You can see some neat critters above.

Poor little guys.. They look so cold (along with all of the other critters). Have the deer been back to eat from your feeders?

Have a great weekend and week ahead. We are headed to Arkansas tomorrow for a week.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It was actually a bit hard to see the cats knowing how their bodies would love to run. I know they also serve as a rescue facility, which I appreciate. It was hardest to see a bear though that they had. It had what I thought was a small cage, but the guide told me it was twice as big as regulation. A trip full of mixed emotions. ~

We rescued and raised two baby squirrels (which we released into the wild as soon as they were ready). We see them out and about even now. When it snowed here, I worried about them but soon discovered that they had made a nest in the chicken coop. They kept nice and warm there.

Love the pics!
