My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 19

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

They have different programs at the Home S&L Plaza at the center of town. This weekend the students from Kent State did ice carvings. I went down the next day and got these photos. This is a big fist.

How about a cold mug for my friends Mac and Tom from England.
A college fraternity sign and a heart for Valentine's Day.
This is an ice formation at my house just for fun. I'm living in an icy world.
Go and visit a lot of great worlds above.

Barn owls are wonderful and so rare in NY, I don't know about Ohio. I keep looking at your blog to see if I recognize anything from all our visits to Kent.....Michelle

Incredible ice carvings, Tom! And, yes, that is one cold heart!!! Have to admit though, the natural one at your home is the loveliest of all. Hope you have a great week! Stay warm!

Ice looks nice but it doesn't last very long. Sapporo, Japan is home to a lot of winter ice activities and I used to be in the Army there in 1953. They even make hotels out of ice and you could spend the night in an ice room.

I think the ice work of art from your house is just as beautiful as the students' works of art in the center of art.

Can't afford that in my country. I believe we're having the early signs of El Niño here in the Philippines.

What fun! I remember ice sculptures of FOOD on the sidewalk outside the building that houses Johnson & Wales, a culinary school in Providence, RI. Such a marvel.~karen

I'm drooling over that tall, frosty mug.

Hey, I did some ice sculpting of sorts, too. There was a slick patch of ice on my driveway, and I chiseled and chiseled to get rid of it. ;-)
