Sky Watch Season # 4 Episode # 31

Sky Watch Friday this is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link at 2:30 PM EDT on Thursdays. SWF is run by Klaus, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.

We did have one blue sky morning when the temperatures were cold and the trees in the far field were covered with frost. I love this old shack and the way it keeps falling down. This was looking toward the North but turn around and look below.
Mostly our skies looked a washed out gray. I still think the scene is beautiful looking across the cat tails toward the South.
You can see a lot of neat skies at the main site.

I remember that old shed from previous shots. Doesn't look as bad in the snow. :)
I like the cattails shot.
We had one pretty day this week. It's snowing now.

The shot of the shack melting back into the earth is great. Can't help but think what houses with vinyl siding are going to look like as they try to return to earth...

Beautiful blue sky! And we've had a lot of those gray skies this winter.

It's great that you can still find simply beauty amidst the gray skies. We have had so few blue skies lately here in the N.E. It's a joyous occasion to see blue sky and sunshine! (Today was great... windy...but beautiful)...
A happy weekend to you ~Maria

Hello Tom
Blizzard there, in contrast to the enormous heat here. This week we had 40.9 ° C (105.62 F). That man in the picture actually runs the risk of developing skin cancer because it is on the beach at 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Have a good Carnival

The blue sky reminds me of looking into the face of the Yei bi Chei. I can almost hear the shuffle of their feet, the rythem of their chanting and rattle. They come in winter, a time in northern az. when living off the land and other activities are more difficult, bringing with them words of healing so that "The People" as individuals could be cured of their depression that winter brings. And restoring "hozho" Beauty to their walk. Thanks for that!

The cat tails really do look neat, but I like the old shack under that beautiful blue sky.

That is an interesting shack. I clicked over to comment on your flowers from today. I love the Angel's Trumpet. The focus is remarkable.

That blue sky is beautiful. I love old barns/buildings that are falling too. There's a barn near here that I keep waiting for it to fall completely down.
Love the textures in that bottom picture, too.
