These are amazing Tom, I hope the sun shines on us too. 2 weeks tonight and we will be cruising.lol.
I agree that the light was great. The buildings are glowing softly. Your photographs look amazing to me too!
What great pictures these are Tom... as you say the light was right.. but you still had to catch it.. I have not done much blogging since the Masters started.. and can not believe what I'm seeing... Nicholson just got back to back eagles. to within one of Westward.. Tell me I'm not dreaming. ;o)
Oooh, yes, Tom, these photos are just lovely! What an amazing place. How fortunate you were to be able to visit there. ~karen
Beautiful golden light to showcase these buildings. Blessings,Ruth

Fantastic pictures. Hope you have fun.
You are right Tom, the light was perfect. What wonderful buildings. I have never been there so it is great to see these marvellous pictures. Thanks for sharing.
The lighting is good Tom. The architecture amazing. It's so hard to believe the buildings sprouting out of the water. Getting around by boat must have seemed like heaven for you. Did you drop a line? The flight is the worst part.
It would seem to me that one can never really move past Venice. Just gorgeous.
Wow, Tom, these are impressive photographs, indeed. I am so glad you got to go there for the rest of us.
Trolling and sight seeing! Wow! This is so cool, People go on trips, and everyone else gets to go along... Thank you so much Tom.
I love those old buildings. On the second picture it looks almost like a hundred years ago.

Gorgeous pictures of one amazing and mysterious city.
I like the sunset photos-but these are my favorite. Something about the color of the buildings along side of the water and sky that makes it all just pop.
Wonderful images of Venice ! + a golden light !
Great pics, Tom!I'd love to go for a stroll along the water's edge there.
