My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 35

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive. Click to visit other sites.

I went fishing today with Soccer Boy, my youngest grandson. The only other one fishing near us was this Great Blur Heron who was wading pretty deep.
Schools out and I put Soccer Boy to work at the oars.

We got 19 Crappie and two Perch.
Soccer Boy caught the biggest one of the day.

See all the great sites above as people show you their worlds.

He sure looks happy! There's such a special bond between Grandpa and Grandson that can never be broken! I can still close my eyes and see my grandpa (mother's father) showing me how to fish. He and my dad were as close as could be. We lost him 22 years ago and I think about him every day.

Soccer Boy is so fortunate to have Grandpa take him fishing. Glad to see you used the oars. It's exercise but there is something relaxing about the sound of the oars dipping and dripping at each stroke. Nice catch of the day...thanks for sharing,...now WHEN did you say the frypan would be hot?
Blessya

Well despite catching 19 of them, this was anything but a crappie day. ;) Your Soccer Boy is adorable.. I'll bet he's a character. A visit from the Great Blue is always a treat. Thanks for sharing your day. :)
