Header Competition Season 2 # 14 - WATER

The header theme this week by me is "Water ".  Mac, Gail's ManLanny, Dave and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that.  After all the hard themes over the past few weeks I decided on something pretty easy to find.

Darla, Martha and Tom W are on a break. Come back as soon as you are able my friends.

Water can be found everywhere but our lakes are a little hard at the present time. This is a shot from our last fishing trip at the end of November and it shows the start of hard water. We were easily able to motor through the thin ice.
I considered this white crappie right out of the water.
Then thought this large mouth bass in the water was cool.
I enjoyed this shot at the twin tower bay with the two large oaks reflecting in the water.
I decided on this photo from Salzburg, Austria and the flowing water from "The Sound of Music" fountain and my wife striking a pose.

See what the others have to show from the above links.

Good that you chose the wife photo there. Beautiful fountain. The last photo of the trees is gorgeous. Love the reflection on such a smooth water.

Fantastic captures, Tom! I love them all -- as always. The very colorful fish and the lovely trees and reflections in the last one are really wonderful, but I agree with the others that you chose the right one for the header!! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!

Actually this is her mom, Lanny. My computer couldn't handle when I clicked to go to Imac's blog. I sure hope it isn't permanent. Any who, this was a delightful unexpected header from you. Yes, I did rather expect a scene from your fishing boat or the fish themselves. Glad to see you get out and manage a view of water of all different sorts and with such a divine accompaniment.

Hi Fishing Guy,
I haven't been here in awhile and have only blogged a little the past few weeks.
Wanted to stop by and say hi and see what you've been up to.
Lovely shot of your wife but I really like the composition of the first fish photo - nicely done!

The last photo is soooooooooo beautiful! The other ones are also great, but I'm captivated by the reflection of the trees in the water... Salzburg is a great charming city, isn't it?
God bless you!
