Header Compitition Season 2 #40 "Below the Water Line"

The theme this week is by Mac which is "Below the Water Line". Mac, Gail's Man,Lanny, Dave,Sandy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesday and start the voting after that.

I really love this theme, I had some aquarium photos that I couldn't retrieve so I went with new lake shots. Here is a crappie from below the water line that hit on a curly tail jig.
Here are a deer and heron partially underwater. I love the heron reaction to the deer.
Here are some fish below the water line in a little stream.
The header is a plant that grows Below the Water Line, water lilies.

See what the others have above.

Did you ask Lily, before you took her photo!

Certainly a large bed of lilies, with their roots below the water line. Great choice.

All of these pictures are great fits for the theme, but I really like the one you chose for your header.

I love the deer and the heron: Strong Silent Type Meets Strong Silent Type--and Prepares for Lift-off!

The lilies make a wonderful header! And the heron trying to scare away the deer is priceless.

Beautiful water pictures, Tom... Since you love fishing and being on the water, I'm sure that was an easy topic for you..

Hope you all are doing fine.

Ahh where did my week go? I was feelin' rushed but just sure that I was going to make it back round to comment after I voted, oh well, best laid plans of rats and Lannies.

Your photos are delightful, a very good side of water indeed. I like the little fishies in the stream the best I think. I miss goin' fishin' with my brother up on the river.

Man, I'd love to go fishing with you just once, and see if I could get some pointers!!

Too hot to go fishing this week, though. Maybe next week some time.
