Header Competition Season 3 # 16 "Surprise"

Header Competition Season 3 # 16 - "Surprise"

The theme this week is by Kathy is "Surprise". She was surprised when we changed the order so came up with this theme. Mac, Gail's ManDave,Kathy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and voting begins after that.

I  thought this might be hard to do but several surprises came this week.

These are the deer triplets looking surprised from a sound they heard. I had some corn out for them to snack on after all the snow cover.
This was the snow cover last week.
Surprise, here it is this week.
The mild weather has allowed the downtown construction to make surprising advancement.
Surprisingly after the snow the Hyacin are coming out of the ground,
 and so are the Tulips.

The snow allowed for some sled riding last week. The grandchildren got out for Rachel's first outing. Since she lives in a milder climate down south she doesn't see snow.

What I decided to use is G getting surprised by his sister and cousin. Watch out G. You can see more photos on my Facebook site.   http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2789624713197.129741.1635729143&type=3
See what the others show at the above links.

Great collection of surprises, Tom. I can't decide which I like best.

Our weather has been crazy--all the snow in Seattle finally made it over this way (east of the Cascades). In our valley you can, in a 45 mile span find wet and clear roads and roads so icy that at least half a dozen cars are in the ditch. The snow is going--I think--as Lake S is appearing in our driveway as it does after a melt off. But be careful getting to the car as you may find surprised self on your kiester. No sprouts yet as one day it is 27ºF. and the next it is 48º--or even in the same day. So, surprise! every time you open the door to go out.

Hey Tom, great sled running shots there.
Snow abound.
Also the spring shoots too.

Bulbs flowering already. That's amazing. Think ours are still asleep in the soil.

These are wonderful surprise photos. I like the header you chose. We've got plants poking up as well. They may get a surprise in the days ahead.
