"SPRING COLORS"

The theme this week by Lew is "Spring Colors". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

I will probably have a different take on this weeks theme. Spring colors to me has to do with the colors I see on the lake. My mind is on fishing and capturing nature on the lakes I fish. My header is from yesterday and the colors of the 9 5/8" Red Ear Bluegill. It qualifies as a Fish Ohio Awards fish over 9" long. Check out the Spring Colors on this catch.
Spring does bring some great bites. Here is a Walleye in it's Spring Colors.
My friend caught a 13 1/2" White Crappie. It is also a Fish Ohio Award fish over 13".
Surprises abound even in black and white. Here is a bald eagle flying over the lake as the Spring Colors come to the trees..
How about these little Canada Geese gosling. They are neat in their Spring Color.
How about a Great Blue Heron walking the shore,
and this one flying past in it's Spring Colors.
See what the others show on my side bar.

That's a monster of a Bluegill. I've never seen one that big. I'm still debating whether I should purchase a fishing license for this year. Terrific Spring colors, Tom!

We both left the obvious spring flowers behind for this one.
