The theme this week by me is "Purple". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.
I decided one of the best places to find the color purple would be the grocery store. These are red onions but I thought they had a lot of purple. Since red and blue are the primary colors that make purple you can see the overlap.
I thought these purple cabbage with the water droplets were pretty neat.

You're absolutely right. Red onions DO have a lot of purple in them. Those are my favorite onions.

I've done that, too...gone to the grocery story to get some great shots (I usually head to the floral department.)

Kudos to you for snapping pics in a grocery store! I try to be stealthy when I do that--I got in trouble once or twice, though I had my big camera with me and it was pretty obvious, lol! I always call them purple onions, too! Great shots!
