"Holiday Preparations"

The theme this week by Lew is "Holiday Preparations". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

My, I wonder what holiday Lew was thinking about. We have had several birthdays and a graduation. Our grand daughter Becah graduated from Kent State. The restaurant where she had her party was ready for the holidays.
She had decorated her cap to thank her parent for paying her way through.
She was having a fun day.
My wife does the holiday preparations in our house. She does a great job. She has set up a wrapping table in the family room and has been quite busy. Here are some of the results.
She does a great job on the wrapping.
The present pile will continue to grow.
Our local pub has it's own special holiday preparations. The moose has special job.
Here is a down town gazebo with holiday lights.
See what the others show on my side bar.

All your pictures look festive. Your wife did a great job with the tree and wrapping all those presents! Congratulations to your granddaughter on her graduation.

I like your tradition of the growing present pile. That's how we used to do it before I was married. My wife prefers to hide all the gifts until Christmas Eve.

Love the moose! What a neat thing that you could celebrate your granddaughter's graduation at Christmastime!
