Spring Is Coming

The theme this week by Lew is "Spring Is Coming". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

Well, Spring is coming and so are the flowering bushes. This is a azalea that is at my daughters boyfriends house. It was full of blooms.
Can you believe how many blooms there are.
It is a beautiful Spring flower.
The other flowering bush is a Rhododendron. It is a beauty also.
It is a beautiful sign of Spring.
I went in for a close view of the flower.
Along with Spring comes another birthday for my father-in-law Gene Pisella. He just turned 100 and he lives alone and still drives in the daytime.. My wife enjoyed her time with him.
See what the others show on my side bar,

What a great way to celebrate spring - with your father-in-law and flowers! Rhododendron and azalea are two of my favorites - beautiful images you have captured.

100? Well, God bless him!

How beautiful to have all that color already! I had to dig in the archives for my spring pics.

Whoa, love that pink! There's nothing like that here in Chicagoland yet, and I can't wait to see some color! Thanks for sharing it with us this week.

Spring is coming you say. Hmm, well today is the first day of Spring, and it looks nothing like Spring! I know Spring will be here soon. I just wish it would hurry itself up! Happy birthday to your F-I-L.
