The Shape of Art

The theme this week by Mac is "The Shape of Art". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. Whoops, I lost a day. I got up this morning thinking it was Wednesday. Surprise, it's Thursday and I'm late. Sorry my friends.

When I think of art I think of the art in Munich, Germany. Everywhere you look you see art shapes. This statue was interesting with the ruler and the lions.
The first thing I saw was this arch at the city entrance.
We parked in front of this line of statues.
This was a fish fountain. I had to show this shape.
Here is Mary and baby Jesus atop a church.
This is a famous colorful clock.
The buildings have such great shapes.
See what the others show on my side bar.

Gee Tom, that was quick delivery,
Beauty in the eye of the beholder, as they say.
Loved that clock.

Lovely things there to photograph.

The clock is the Glockenspiel. I recognize the figures. Good morning Wednesday.

Man, I love to see all that art!! If I could afford it, my own home would have more artistry in its construction rather than the standard utilitarian fare. It impresses the socks off me to enter a town and see such a high level of culture as your pics of Munich.

Nice collection of artwork. I like the fancy clock towers in Germany.

Love these! It's always so interesting to travel to other places and see the unique buildings, art, and such from there. You captured it well.

Some great statuary you found! It seems they had more money for art in the past than we have now.

Beautiful art.... I especially love that church in the last photo... That is awesome.

Hope you two are doing okay. I don't hear from you very much anymore --but then again, we are ALL busy these days...

Take care.
Hugs,
Betsy
