"Right Place, Right Time"

The theme this week by me is "Right Place, Right Time". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that

Trying to get a hawk photo is a matter of right place right time. This young Cooper's Hawk landed on an electric wire. I had to drive around to a convenient place to park and snapped this.
I was driving so I had to get to a place to capture the hawk.
He was looking around so I got a chance to capture it.
The whitetails travel through the field behind the house so you have to be in the right place at the right time to get a photo.
This doe was feeding so I got a chance to capture a photo.
See what the others show on my side bar.

Great sighting of the Hawk and the pretty deer. I am glad you were in the right place at the right time!

This is it, isn't it? Luck of the draw. We driven miles to find a snowy owl!

We don't see many deer near my home, but I came close to having one as a hood ornament just three or four weeks ago. Thankfully, there was no contact.

They say we have Cooper's Hawks 'round here, but I usually see Red-Tailed Hawks.

Congrats on being at the right place, at the right time!

Why did I think there would be a fish in your header?

Those hawks are hard (for me) to capture with my camera.
They have such splendid eyesight that I always think that they see me first...and don't want to be photographed! :)
Love the hawk photos and the photo of the deer. Deer are such gentle creatures. We have many hawks and many deer here in South Georgia....and I never tire of seeing them.
Lovely photos!

Good catch! They do not seem to stay still long.

Animals are sure hard to capture with the camera; you did a great job. They are all definitely about being in that right place, and I guess it's at the time they choose--you just need to be there, waiting! Nice.
