"Snow or Winter"

The theme this week is "Snow or Winter " by Lew.  Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. Christine is gone this week.

We haven't had much snow this year so far. This has been a really mild winter so far. We had 50 F last week and little snow. Lucky for me we got our second snow yesterday. It was one of those beauties that cover the trees, lucky me. My back yard became a winter wonderland.
As you can see the snow put a covering on all the trees.
I was so happy to get new photos after such a mild start to winter. I actually used my snow blower for the first time this year.
See what Mac and Lew show on my side bar.

Hello, the trees look beautiful covered in snow. We had some more snow yesterday too.
Enjoy your day!

Winter snow bound, and a Tree-mendos show Tom

It has been a less snowy winter here, too. We really need the snow cover as it is -7 C. today (19ish F.?)
We have a couple of inches on the ground, whereas last year we had a foot!

Indeed strange weather this winter. Our snow usually drops a bunch out your way before reaching us. This storm made the trip around the mountains instead of over them.

I love those snows that cling to the trees and turn them into works of art. Great pictures of nature's artwork.

It looks magical, Tom!

That is how I like my snow. Picturesque and not so deep as to cause a lot of problems. Except, of course, in the mountains.

We haven't gotten much use out of the snowblower this Winter season either. The most it has been used was during the past week. Yesterday the snow blew back into the drive almost as fast as Bob blew it out of the drive!
