Sky Watch Friday 5-9

It's Sky Watch Friday and it's your chance to post your Sky pictures and go to Wiggers World to join. This is a pair of sheds that I pass on the way to work that I enjoy photographing. The yellow shed is usable but the green roofed shed is done for. This is not far from where I helped the snapping turtle.
I showed the green roofed shed once before during the Winter.
I hope you enjoyed them.

Love them barns, Man! I see run down old barn remnants occasionally, and wonder why no one does a proper demo. But they make for cool photo opportunities, at least!

Hey, I finally went fishing last night! It was loads of fun! Now, I need to find a few good spots and buy more poles for the kids.

Ok, yep, I think that shed has seen its day. It looks like someone sat on it... wonder how much longer before it caves right on in!
Great photos.

I agree with sandy. I really wish people would try and preserve the old barns and buildings. They are so full of history..

I love the difference between the two shots.

I don't get it. Were they taken at the same time? The sky is so different. I assume it is in the editing.

To For The People: I took one at the beginning of April and one at the end of April. The winter lasted long but it got warm, wet and green very fast.

Will you visit mine Thanks

Good photos. I always like to photograph such scenes.

It looks like a good place to see some wildlife unless there is a development screened from view by the trees.

Thanks for your many visits and comments on my blog!

Why do they always make more attractive photographic subjects when they are falling down and useless? Really cool shots!

Great shots of this long-ago time. And I enjoyed reading about your encounter and rescue of the snapping turtle. I had never seen one until moving to MN and I posted on my experience last year.

It's sad to watch old buildings rot away, but maybe the green-roofed shed had a good life. ;-)

Great sheds and they need more than a lick of paint:-)

Those are some great photos. I love that first shot. Nice work, thanks for sharing. We have a lot of old shed like that around Iowa. I have often thought that I should photograph them.

Seeing buildings like these make me a little sad. There was probably a time when they functioned well and hard, and now mother nature has decided that it belongs to her once again.
