The main star of our flower garden is the Giant Blue Hostas. I'll have to show you the development on this Hostas as it grows. It is on the North side of the house in a corner next to the porch and is the slowest to sprout. It will soon grow very large. It sits next to the Frog planter. The remainder of the Hostas are green and variegated. This is the height that my wife like best. They are only half grown. You can see the white and pink Peonies starting to come up. I will have to stake them to keep them upright.
The yellow variegated Hostas on the right will also be a large display very soon.
The other stars of the garden are the large Frog I received as a gift.
My wife bought this raccoon while visiting her sister in Washington state.
We also have one of the famous Black Squirrels guarding a miniature rose bush.
I hope you enjoyed the trip around the house with all our Stars.

I love your garden with all your little critters! I remember my Hostas and planting in this small area I had in the garden thinking it was a perfect place but as it grew it took up so much room. It was a beautiful plant with it's outstretching leaves and I was proud of it but I had no idea that it would take up not only it's space but the one next to it and next to that one at well!!! LOL
Hostas are a favourite of mine but I must say they don't look as healthy as yours..or as big as yours will get! Looking forward to seeing the flowers. I must get some more varieties here too. :O)
I sure did, the lawn looks very well also. I'm not a gardener.. but do enjoy looking at the plants of others..
It is so fun and rewarding to grow a garden, weather it is flowers or veggies.. beautiful, cant wait to see yours in full bloom. thanks fishing guy.
Heck a regular black squirrel would be big enough to guard most things. :-)
Very nice hostas! I love looking at them, but have so many deer around my house that I can't manage to grow any.
beautiful gardens and beautiful pictures of beautiful animals
