The new Sky Watch Friday is doing really well. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were over 300 people last week with beautiful Sky photos. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.
I admit that we don't get many days when we have Sun during the Winter but every now and then the Sun comes out and you get a bluebird colored sky. February started this way but has quickly changed to gray skies. I was along the Cuyahoga River for my last week bridge and river post and the sky was special for me. I took these three shots in the same area from different angles. The light post was from the high level Haymaker Parkway Bridge.

Very beautiful photos of blue skies and white clouds.Perfect shots!Happy SWF!
These are some incredibly beautiful skies!
We have had mostly grey skies too, and low light, for what seems like weeks on end. This evening we got a lucky break, blue skies and pastel clouds at sunset. What a relief! :-)
These are quite refreshing Sir Fishing Guy. I hear you on the lack of sunny days and when they do pop out they are a gift. I can feel the fresh air on my face through your photos.
Isn't it interesting what the addition of a few tree branches does for the beauty of the sky!
Excellent skywatch shots, I especially love the one with the American flag, well done once again.
Have a great weekend!

Nice to capture some beautiful days in the winter.
I have to do the same - when the sky is blue you have to get as may pictures as you can. Well done!

Great photo's!!
I love blue skies and big fluffy clouds!!

I know what you mean about how few blue skies we have this time of year. Makes us jump up with our cameras whenever the sun does come out, doesn't it?
My Sky Watch photo is at
East Gwillimbury Wow
I think we could start a blue sky fan club here, because there are a few things that add so much life quality as a sky like you just capture!
A gift from God it surely is.Too often we forget who makes the weather,or I should say I tend to not think that way.God gives us so much beauty.
Blessings,Ruth

I just looked at another sky watch with flags. :-) Like I said there, nothing is more beautiful than the flag flying with the blue sky as a background. :-)
Looks like a hot summer day!
Beautiful SKY series.
Have a great weekend!
I'm glad you got some blue skies in February and am even happier that you shared them with us.
Wow! After grey skies most days, that blue must seem just like heaven!
There cannot be a better way to lift spirits in the dead of winter more than a blue blue sky!I am in awe whenever I stand still and turn in different directions and the sky looks so different from the angles as you illustrate today!
I adore skies like this with such contrasts, very nice
Love those clouds. Thanks,
Beautiful sky, beautiful clouds. I really like those bright, white clouds. :-)
If it weren't for the bare trees, you'd think these pictures were taken during the summer! It needs to hurry up and get here. I'm freezing!
Take care
Lisa
