The Snow Is Leaving

This the first thaw since the snow started in December. I thought I would share our snow season from around town. This is a tree behind my neighbors yard that looks like a home for some squirrels.
The snow just kept coming and decorating my back yard along with the pine trees. This is taken during a snow storm. The deck got a really good covering during the month. I liked the way followed the table on railing.
Here is a neat view of the icecles on the side of a building.
What do you do with the snow on the bridge after you decide to open the lanes after repair. Why, place it in front of the resturant that has been closed. The melt had started and snow piles were showing the dirt.
I hope you enjoyed this look at the Winter season up North.

Winter has not been kind to the chinchilla. But your photos made him feel better.

Fishing Guy, it looks like a lot of work but it also shows the fortitude of the folks who live up north. So here's a toast to Fortitude Fishing Guy! Hope you are feeling better now. I'm keeping you in my thoughts. Peace.

Wow Tom you guys really did get hammered. I remember when that last picture used to be an italian or greek restaurant? I ate there a few times with my parents, before it was painted green and pink. Now it looks like that lot is parking for a bike trail? Very cool.

Glad to see you are getting some respite from the long cold winter. Nearly all of our snow is gone now but I'm sure not for long.

So much snow this year - I'm still feeling the pain in Michigan! Even w/ today's warmer weather - I still have a mountain in front of my driveway that I can ski down - LOL! P.S. For some reason - I'm really liking your country music. :)

Plenty of snow still lays around here, the temperature is still quite chilly here but the sun shines brightly. If I have to deal with the cold, at least we have the sunshine to keep this part of the world brilliant!

Thanks for your message in my blog...
I say prayers for you every single night for as long as you need it.

Those icicles make it look MUCH too cold for my warm blood. If it was like that here, I would hibernate. LOL!!

Wow...those icicles are really something! Great snow shots. Ours has melted and now it is pouring rain and the water is rising everywhere.

I do indeed love photographs of the snow. Makes me smile all over again that we are not in Wisconsin!

Better get out the roof rack to keep ice dams from forming.

Hello from a neighbor in Michigan. This has been a whopper of a winter, with above-average snow (which we can use to fill the lakes back up) and below-average temps (which we haven't found a use for).

Hope you enjoyed the brief false spring we just had. We all know better than to put away the boots.

Love all the snowy pics-I still wish we would get one big snow before spring-but time is running out.

I did enjoy this look at winter where you are. Not living in snow I find it fascinating. I really like the icicles hanging from the roof of that house.
