The Pansy or Pansy Violet is a beautiful flower that will always brighten you day. They come in many colors and always seem to have a happy bearded face looking at you. The big purple flower from last Spring is my favorite color. They will winter over sometimes and are a nice surprise in the spring.

Pansies are lovely and they have nice faces. They also survive the winter in Austria.

Pansies are wonderful because they are the first annuals to arrive in our flower shops! Not till mid April in central Ontario, though, so I have at least six weeks to wait!
Wonderful pansies. Their friendly faces and warm perfume remind me of summer days in Switzerland.

dearly love their sweet faces and in a good year they can be come a bi-annual. In not so good years te heat of summer dessicates them.

Beautiful Pansies, Tom.. We HAD lots of pansies around our yard --until the cold weather just was too cold for them.. This is the first winter they haven't made it through the winter here since we started planting Pansies in the fall of the year. Last year, they lived until July... Even though we haven't had much snow this winter, we have had some very cold temperatures...Even today, our highs are just in the 20's. Brrrrrrr.

I think our pansies were wiped out this winter, but we're hoping for the best. It snowed last night and was cold all day, so thanks for brightening our day with your pansies.
Interesting shade of purple ... it's almost a blue. It's amazing how many hues and mixes of colors our eyes can differentiate.

I love these simple flowers. They brighten up and place from a large garden to a window box. A pleasure to have them.
