Header Competition # 29 - Tools of the Trade

The header theme this week by Mac and is "Tools of the Trade". Mac,TomDarlaMarthaGail's Man and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week.

I'm retired so the tools of the trade consist of my truck and boat trailer for getting me to the lake.
My boat is how I get around on the water. It is loaded with my fishing tools. Whoops, one of my cases fell over. You can see trolling motor, fish finder, poles, net and oars. All are tools of my trade.
The header is my boat at the dock on Lake Hodgson ready to take me to catch fish. It didn't work today, we had a 10 MPH North wind and 32 degrees F last night with a heavy frost. It was rough on the water.

Fishing Guy shows his true face, I mean, took kit (it sounds more or less similar)... :)
God bless you!

I was hoping you'd show this kind of post... very interesting to see how you get about and the gear you use.

Where does the wife sit to fish. It is relaxing and fun if you catch some fish. Boring otherwise.

Becca: The wife doesn't fish, she would rather work or shop. She would never touch bait or a live fish.

Tom that's a nice little set up you have there... I had a boat at one time I used to bomb up and down lake Powell with... Her name was "The marriage councilor". Of course the name was a source of contention..LOL
Happy fishing!

32 degrees? Yup that's nippy. It was 37 here, when I left for work, and I was a little surprised at that.

I like your tools of the trade. Hopefully you will have better luck the next time you try to get out on the lake.

Looks warmer than you indicate! I hope to be fishing a bit for the first time this year, on Friday. I'm looking forward to it. And I do hook my own bait, but I shudder though it. ;)

What a lovely occupation Tom. :) Love the new header. When my husband was still alive we used to go fishing often and I loved the peace and quiet which surrounded me.

I like you kind of "tools of the trade" even if not a fishing person. I do enjoy going out on boats, but not when it's that cold. Love the header Tom.

Nice set of tools! I could use a relaxing day in a boat right about now! Maybe if it isn't too rainy today I'll sit in the canoe and enjoy the farm from the middle of the pond.
