My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 28

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive. Click to visit other sites.

We leave Brixen, Italy and drive across the Alps through the Brenner Pass to Innsbruck, Austria. What do you think this is?
Castles on the hill are a common sight.

But this is the city of Olympic fame and the structure was a restaurant above the Bergisel Ski Jump Hill built in 2001.

The city of Innsbruck settled in the valley between the Alps.

The famous Golden Roof, what a setting in this city. The band performed 100 yards away in the square.

Who is that photographer on his head for the shot?
Why, it is yours truly just behind the band. The crowd of people was quite large.

Travel around the world above.

Really breathtaking! Léia demands that I take her to this place, immediately! Well, at least some time soon... :)
God bless you!

Oh what a world we have eh? The pure creation of God and then the part He made with the hand of man, all because He loves us and invites us to participate, all so beautiful beyond words. How fortunate to see these things.

I don't know how those kids could play in such a beautiful place... I would have been standing there with my mouth wide open! Great tour! Thanks Tom!

Simply gorgeous. Another place on my list of future vacations!

Restaurant? For real? I would have guessed monorail station, or something even more futuristic ... but regardless, it's only a momentary distraction from the scenery and its beauty. It must have been a hoot to be there with the band.

I'd love to try that restaurant! It's certainly not your everyday dining experience, I'm sure. You captured some amazing sights...I would love to return to Salzburg someday. So amazing! And, yours truly looks pretty good upside down! Good one!

This post of yours takes me back. I was standing in the street looking at the Golden Roof 35 years' ago. Wow, has it really been that long? Fantastic photos and thanks for the great memories.

What an incredible scenery. I thought I have seen the tower in one of the car commercial, which the car try to drive up the slop.

What a thrill it must have been to see that beautiful city in person. I will admit, however, that I didn't realize the lengths to which you would go (standing on your head) to get a good picture.

A very interesting resturant, but I'd prefer to dine in the castle. This is so outstanding, I've now added yet another place to visit on my list.
Very cute getting yourself in the band photos.
