Today's Flowers # 89

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 2 GMT is the post time.

From a walk around the neighborhood I found this Forsythia plant.
They have a great flower when you look close-up.

Check out this patch of wild purple Violets in the park.

They have a very delicate bloom which hides their face.

You can see a lot of great flowers above.

You are correct. The forsythia plant does have a great flower. I've always admired a forsythia from a distance. Thank you for showing me what the flower looks like close up! I like the yellow frame around the forsythia too.

That is one beautiful forsynthia tree! Ours are all bloomed now, just leaves now. I hacked back my forsynthia tree this year, it was so unruly and blocking big time my driveway, still waiting to see if it recovers from the shock. I think it will. Your little purple violets are cute. I love that colour!

No way :-) the first picture of the forsynthia tree is so out of this world. I don't see much of them in my area.

Forsythia and violets go nicely together. I have both in my backyard. Love your shot of the one forsythia bloom.

I love forsythia...almost every yard in our area has one. Mine is going wild, I trimmed it 2 yrs ago but the stems root as soon as it touches the ground.

It's good to see that Spring is busting out all over up there in Ohio. You captured a very pretty forsythia.

We have a lot of those purple flowers in our yard but I am wondering if those ware weeds or wild flowers coz they're kinda pretty..

Hope you can still visit my African Violet entry, even I am a little late, thanks in advance.

I would not have thought to surround the forsythia with a yellow frame, but that sure does work for me. Very nice shots.
