My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 30

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive. Click to visit other sites.

My travels through Europe brought me to Munich, Germany. We visited the Marienplatz. This was a photographers dream with very special architecture. I do love all the towers.
How could I resist a fountain honoring the fish.
The Neues Rathaus (New City Hall) was just outstanding.
Here is the famous Rathaus-Glockenspiel. It was really beautiful. They did have it protected with wire mesh.
You can see a lot of different worlds above.

Fishing Guy, just has a chance in the last couple days to study all your photos of your trip to Italy and Germany. Great shots. Well done. I saw Munich for the first time in 1970 and I loved those moving figures. Fun to watch. I noticed that you didn't post anything yet on Dachau. Too depressing?

The Rathaus-Glockenspiel is a thing of beauty. How much do you suppose it would cost to add something like that to a building? It has a hefty price tag, I'm sure!

Hi Tom, Yes---the architecture is amazing in Europe... You got some great pictures. OH--what I'd give to see that in person!!!!

Thanks for checking on us. Crossville got lucky and didn't get all of the flooding which Nashville has gotten. Did you hear that the Opryland Hotel has water in it? ALL of that area does... SO SAD.

It's raining at the beach today--so this gives me an opportunity to catch up with some blogging, some reading and some SLEEPING.. ha ha (What a life!)

Hugs,
Betsy
