Sky Watch Season # 4 Episode # 10

                                         Sky Watch Friday
This is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link at 3:00 PM EDT on Thursdays. SWF is run by Klaus, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.

Bluebird skies make you look for something of interest. Here we see a set of contrails in the sky.
Here is the jet making the contrails. The telephoto lens sure helps.
Check out the other great skies above.

Jet trails fascinate me as a kid...and even now. yes, the constant question for them is their destination...

I agree with Gizelle, there's something fascinating about them. I remember the first jet streams I saw when I was a child, many years ago. My brother and I used to discuss, endlessly, the exciting idea of breaking the sound barrier.

Very cool indeed.

Cool. The air was so still and humid one day last week, we watched a set of contrails take at least 2 hours to dissipate. Well we didn't watch the full time.. we weren't that bored without the fishing wind. ;)
