Header Compitition Season 2 #41 "Romance"

The theme this week is by Gail's Man which is "Romance". Mac, Gail's Man,Lanny, Dave,Sandy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesday and start the voting after that.

This was a tough one for me. Every theme poses its own problems. I started out with some romance from nature with a pair of mallards traveling together.
The next shot is these canada Geese with the romance causing an increase in population.
I chose this phoot from today with the couple who went on the lake in a box the boy had made. I talked them off the lake because they had no life vest while in their box. There must be some real romance to go on the lake in a box.

You can see the others from the links above.

I think that's the first time I've heard of someone floating in a box. LOL
Cute story to go along with your picture.

Excitement Tom, thats what you must have felt, seeing them in that box.
Good for you to take advantage for a photo shoot.

Glad that you stopped them going on the water, otherwise that box might have ended up as a coffin.

I agree that there must have been romance in the air for that couple to try to go out on the lake in that box. I'm glad you convinced them to come in. I like all your romance pictures.

Oh, I love the grey softness in the shots with the geese.

Did you let them use your boat and vests instead? Poor dear.

He looks really dejected, talk about the wrong way to go about romance. Maybe he needs to practice his diy boat building skills first next time and invest in some life jackets as well. The bird shots look much happier though.

I like the story, Tom. I wonder if the young couple ever got those life jackets.
