The theme this week by me  is "Orange".  Mac, Chris,Kathy, Gail and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and voting begins after that.

This has so many ways to go with the color orange. It should be interesting what is shown. I decided to use the orange buoys at Lake Hodgson. It combines the color orange with some great fishing birds. I started with the Great Blue Heron an the big  Orange buoy.
Here is a smaller set of Orange and white buoys with the birds all around.
This is a Ring Billed Seagull on the medium Orange buoy.
This is a Double Crested Cormorant on the big Orange buoy.
Here he is taking off from the buoy just like running on the water.
I chose this Double Crested Cormorant drying on the big Orange buoy. He is a fancy bird for certain.
See what the others have shown above.

Fabulous shot, lovely colour and yes I can hear the birds calling 'Dinner as arrived' as they watch the fish swimming beneath them.
