"Straight and Curved Lines with-in a Church or House"

The theme this week by Mac which is "Straight and Curved Lines with-in a Church or House". Mac, Kathy, Sandy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

I decided to use my trip across the Alps with the Shaker Heights Band to show this theme. I visited two parts of The Cathedral of the Assumption while in Brixen, Italy. The older part from the 10th century. The newer cathedral  is where I got my header. This fresco is just one of many on the ceiling. I loved the straight and curved lines on this part of the church.
The double clock towers are just beautiful.
This is a view toward the alter.
Check out these straight and curved lines.
This is the 10th century church on the left.
There are many straight and curved lines in the church.
This fresco has really interesting lines. You can really see the age in this church.
See what the others have to show on my side bar.

HI, Tom. I used some of my travels for church lines, but came home for my header. Good shots.

I love to see a church that looks like a church. My own church is SO very plain! :-(

I imagine that the lighting can be tricky inside all of those curves and light sources. You did great here!

Wonderful shots of the inside! And quite a difference between the two buildings. It is amazing what they could build back in the 10-th century!
