"Rain"

The theme this week by Craver is "Rain". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

I'm depressed, I woke up a constant morning rain. It has continued all day. It's not a hard rain with dark clouds. It is just constantly falling and keeping everything wet. It is going into the 30's tonight. Will this Spring season really start, PLEASE? I decided to use this wet deck photo through the deck door to show the rain in my header.
The rain just keeps coming down and dripping off the chair.
The rain has made puddles on the deck.
Here are some drops from the rain on the flower leaves.
This shows two small Ohio Buckeye trees enjoying the rain. They came from the squirrels burying the buckeyes.
See what the others show on my side bar.

I don't know whether it's some kind of polarization going on or just that stuff changes color when it's wet, but my eyes enjoy the feast of colors every time it rains. I like the look of the darker streets and shiny highlights. Somehow, my mind associates rain with a time of refreshing.

Stay warm and be safe. Your preferred weather is just around the corner.

Not sure my first attempt worked so here goes again:
I am with you, let's have some real spring for awhile! I like your wet deck reflection and your buckeyes. If only we could train the squirrels to plant where we want stuff to grow.

I enjoy a good rain. Right now I would actually welcome one.It would help to melt the snow.

I feel as though I am on a roller coaster as far as the weather is concerned. One day we enjoy Spring-like weather, then we are thrown back into Winter, another day it feels like summer, and then back to Winter. Mother Nature needs to make up her mind!
