No Fear

The theme this week by Christine is "No Fear". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

Christine came up with an interesting theme this week. I decided to find some photos that will show No Fear. The one I decided to use is a grey squirrel that showed No Fear while on our deck rail. This was just too comfortable to not capture a photo.
Mister Moose shows no fear with the spider web on him.
No wonder, with this spider above him moving away.
The stone shows the people who used the underground railroad that ran through Kent. They had to show No Fear to travel North in the 19th century. The slaves were able to get to Canada before the Civil war times and afterward.
I think the stone was so well carved.
See what the others have to show on my sidebar.

A great post for the day as always, Tom!! I do love that squirrel!! I have one here that hangs out near my front porch waiting for the peanuts he knows will be coming if he's patient!!! Hope your week is going well!

That stone looks like a chocolate-embossed shortbread cookie. YUMMMM!

The squirrel pic is so clean and sharp. I like its rich tones.

Wow, some great shots to show the theme. I really, really, really love your squirrel shot. Really amazing; he looks like he's holding on tight!!

Love the squirrel "chilling" on your deck!

I think those following the Underground Railroad had a lot of fear, the no fear part is the conquering of it each step of the way.
