" Cell Phone Pictures"

The theme this week by Craver is "Cell Phone Pictures ". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. I guess Craver wanted to see what the cell phones would capture. I had to learn how to get the photos to the computer. I had to E-mail them to myself.

This is from a trip to the Kent Bog, the Tamarack Trees are holding onto the yellow needles getting ready to drop. I did a close-up with my cell phone for the contest.
Here is a Tamarack Tree in its full glory.
Another close-up of an old log.
Here is a mushroom coming up through the bog bottom.
The acorns were on the walkway.
Here is a view up the bog.
See what the others show on my side bar.

I do not know if we have Tamaracks in the Chicago area, but those yellow needles are a pretty sight!

The snapshot of the bog looks like an Expressionist's painting. Whereas Kat's image last week was bold and vivid, this one would be a softer style of Expressionism. Very nice.

I see a golden glow from your Tamarack Trees. There are still a few trees here holding onto their yellow leaves.

Cell phones take some great pictures, especially when they are in the right hands.

Love that close-up; those needles are so pretty and colorful. Nice to still have some autumn color around, too!

You seem the most comfortable of all of us with cell phone photography.

Oops. I said Expressionist, but the style I referred to is actually Impressionist.

Nice shots of the tamarack! I also like the acorn and its shadow.
