The theme this week is "Looking Down" by me. Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.
So I thought a trip around the Kent Bog may give some looking down experiences. I found this while looking down, a fiddle head fern showing the fiddle head shape at the top.
But back to the beginning with a sign telling you where you are.
There is a boardwalk the whole way around the bog. You can go either way. I usually choose clockwise.
Okay feet don't fail me now.
While looking down you see the typical boggy condition, don't stray off the walkway.
You do see a lot of moss. I wonder if something burrowed into this clump?
The beauty of the blooms can be seen looking down.
The tamarack trees have lost their yellow needles and now have fresh green growth.
I'm not sure what this bell shaped flower is but I found it looking down. I hope you enjoyed your trip to the Kent Bog.
See what the others show on my side bar.

Hope you didn't step off Tom MDF Don't want you to get Bogged down ,lol. Neat showing of Down.
Wonderful sights can be seen when we take a good look at things around us.
You always have to be aware of what is at ground level when hiking. No matter if the wide view is incredible, if you don't also watch the ground level, you miss a lot.
(My mountain, BTW, is Rainier. Always Rainier.)
Good to watch your step - Nice photos may appear. And you got some good ones.
