Macro

The theme this week is "Macro"  by Kathy.  Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. 

I really enjoy macro photography.  The 123's of macro photography. 1: Set up the camera for macro with setting or lens. 2: Find a small object to capture. 3: Get close and fire away. Now we look at the 

So we will look at the ABC's of macro photography.

A - An apple blossom.

A - An ant.
B - A butterfly.
B - a butterfly.
B - A Bumblebee.
C - A caterpillar.
D - A dragonfly.
H - A hornet.
L - A ladybug.

Great series, I love the pretty flowers, butterflies, dragonfly and the ladybug. But, lol those red ants and the hornet scare me.

Item 4 "Don't get stung"! You got some great shots of the small flying insects! (I got stung twice clearing some weeds before I found the source and photographed the nest.

Wow, Tom, those are very nice images. I love the caterpillar and butterfly images the best.

Did any of us leave out the dragonflies (or damselflies)? Great shots, Tom. So crisp and clear.
